Rakesh Singh a young BJP leader with unlimited possibilities has been elected as the Member of Parliament of Jabalpur as BJP candidate for *Lok Sabha* Elections for 2004 from Jabalpur Parliamentary Constituancy. A resident of Jabalpur and son of Late Shri R.S. Thakur, one of the respected citizens of this town, Rakesh Singh is only 42 and is a Science Graduate from the Govt. Science College Jabalpur. He started his active career as a Student leader of the Govt. Science College Jabalpur, and held various responsibilities in the Students Association. Later he became a member of the Jabalpur Timber Association and demonstrated his organizational proficiency. But from the very beginning he was equally interested in Political service to the Nation and very soon joined the Bhartiya Janta Party or BJP, and won the hearts of the party workers with his humble behavior and active participation. This young leader performed outstanding and achieved targets with flying colors during every responsibility which was imparted to him regarding the various political activities of this area and also during the Legislative Assemble Elections and Parliamentary Election. His valuable contribution with regard to the winning of BJP candidates in several elections can not be overlooked. With his consistent valuable contribution to the party, the BJP in the year 2001 appointed him as the President of BJP Gramin Jila (Jabalpur). Rakesh Singh is a spiritual minded a quiet person, who makes every one proud of him. He is well known for his cooperative, soft spoken behavior and also as a dedicated party worker. BJP is very much hopeful of his dedicated, selfless service and struggle for BJP. He bears all positive qualities of a dynamic young leader and possesses a Mature nature as well. It is expected that the Jabalpur Parliamentary constituency shall be proud of their New Member of Parliament, Rakesh Singh. BJP Parivar Jabalpur.
